PH Embassy in Egypt Conducts ATN, Consular Mission in Khartoum, Sudan

CAIRO 01 October 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Cairo conducted a joint assistance-to-nationals (ATN) and consular mission in Khartoum, Sudan from 20 to 23 September 2018.
The consular mission processed more than 100 applications for passport, reports of birth, and overseas absentee voting for Filipinos in Sudan.
The ATN mission, led by Third Secretary and Vice Consul Bojer B. Capati, met with Sudanese government officials to assess the working and living conditions of Filipinos in Sudan. They discussed issues such as combating human trafficking, addressing labor disputes and improvement of the delivery of services to overseas Filipinos in the country.
There are about 3,000 Filipinos in the Sudan. END
