PH Consulate General in L.A. Conducts Consular Mission in Las Vegas

LOS ANGELES 02 October 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles conducted a two-day Assistance-to-Nationals and consular outreach mission in Las Vegas, Nevada, U.S.A. on 15-16 September 2018.
Vice Consul Dyan Kristine Miranda-Pastrana was accompanied by Ms. Rossette T. Estrella, Mr. Joel Blas, Ms. Teresita Villanueva, Ms. Steneli P. Alviar, Mr. Edgardo Lim and Ms. Mari Ople.
A total of 373 consular and voter registration services were rendered composed of 68 dual citizenship, four derivatives, 207 passport renewal, nine civil registry, 43 legalization of documents, and 42 voters registration.
U.S. Department of Labor District Director Montañez distributed information flyers and pamphlets to participants and answered their queries on labor issues, at the U.S. Department of Labor booth.
This mission, the 10th conducted by the Consulate General for 2018, is part of the Philippine Government’s efforts to bring its various services closer to its constituents.
The outreach was undertaken in cooperation with the National Federation of Filipino-American Associations (NaFFAA) Nevada under the leadership of Mr. Leo Belmonte, Chairperson and the U.S. Department of Labor Nevada headed by District Director Gaspar Montañez. END
