23 December 2013 - In an effort to further boost Philippine tourism to the Omani market, the Philippine Embassy in Muscat participated in the first International Travel and Hospitality Show (ITHS) from December 15 to 17 at the Oman International Exhibition Center, Muscat.

The colorful Philippine Embassy stall attracted many visitors who were given the chance to have a sneak peek of what the Philippines can offer to tourists.  Most Omani visitors have shown interest in visiting places like Boracay and Palawan.  They also expressed keen interest in availing of tour packages for groups and families.

Upon visiting the Philippine Embassy stall, H.E. Khalil Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al Khonji, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) and Guest of Honor on the inauguration of ITHS, expressed his wish to “visit the Philippines again and again.” END
