PH Culture Showcased at Norway’s Cultural Fest

OSLO 09 October 2018 – Festival-goers at the Språk og kulturfestivalen in Oslo were treated to a sampling of Philippine culture, with textiles, dance, and food offered to festival goers held on 22 September 2018.

The Språk og kulturfestivalen is an annual event of the Språk og kultur, an organization dedicated to spreading appreciation for diversity and multiculturalism through festivals and other activities. Filipino group Likha Scandinavia performed a modern interpretation of Igorot dances, while Filipino restaurant Jeepney served local fare such as adobo, sisig, and lumpia. The Embassy’s participation in the festival was made possible through coordination with the ASEAN Committee in Oslo (ACO).
