Iranian MSMEs Visit PH Embassy
TEHRAN 09 October 2018 – Interested to expand their businesses to the Philippines, representatives of various Iranian micro-, small-, and medium-scale enterprises (MSMEs) paid a courtesy call on Ambassador to Iran Wilfredo C. Santos on 04 October 2018 at the Philippine Embassy in Tehran.
During the courtesy call, the MSME representatives expressed their interest in engaging in complementary trade and investment exchanges and partnerships between MSMEs in the Philippines and Iran, especially in agricultural and food supply, construction materials, tourism, and other non-competing products and services.
They expressed interest to visit the Philippines as a business delegation to explore investment opportunities and touch base with counterpart Philippine MSMEs.
Ambassador Santos expressed the Embassy’s readiness to assist Philippine and Iranian business sectors to form linkages and provide a conduit for business interactions.
