Tagbilaran Singing Priests Perform in Calgary

CALGARY 18 October 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General in Calgary joined the Filipino community in supporting the concert “Handog—the Singing Priests of Tagbilaran” of Bohol Province held on 06 and 07 October 2018 in three Catholic Churches in Calgary. 

Reverend Fathers Jonas Lubiano, Elias Algabre, Leonel Grado, Irwin Garsuta and Linuel Caňizares held three concerts at St. Thomas Moore Parish Church, St. Gerard Parish Church, and Cecilia Parish Church.

They were on a singing tour in the United States and Canada to seek support for the project of the Archdiocese of Tagbilaran. They held a similar concert in Winnipeg.

The Filipino audience at the concert in the St. Thomas Moore Church enjoyed with great appreciation an evening of praise music as well as Pilipino, Boholano and English soul-inspiring songs performed by the five priests. END
