PH Embassy in Rome Conducts Consular Mission in Salerno

ROME 11 October 2018 – In line with providing consular services to Filipinos in their jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Rome conducted its 17th consular mission for the year in Salerno from 06 to 07 October 2018, servicing more than 300 Filipinos from Salerno, Naples, and Messina.
The consular mission was held in coordination with the Philippine Consulate in Naples.
The team processed 175 renewal of passports, 13 reports of birth, two reports of marriage, 31 affidavits/notarials, and one dual citizenship application.
The Philippine Overseas Labor Office, the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, the Social Security Service and PAG-ibig also joined the mission.
Salerno is the capital of the southwestern province of Italy, Campania, located 266 kilometers south of Rome. It is home to an estimated 1,000 Filipinos. END
