PRETORIA 10 September 2018 – The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria conducted a mobile consular mission in Maputo, Mozambique from two days on 02 to 03 September 2018.

The team processed the renewal of passports of Filipinos based in Maputo and adjoining towns, registered birth, took the oath of Filipinos reacquiring their citizenship, and notarized various legal documents.

A total of 39 passport applications, four Reports of Birth and five other Consular transactions were processed. Two voters registered or updated their records for the overseas absentee voting.

The Filipino community in Maputo expressed their gratitude for the mobile service extended by the Embassy, stating that it is a great convenience for them as they do not have to go to South Africa to avail of the said services. END
