CHICAGO 28 September 2018 - Leaders of various Filipino community organizations in St. Louis gave a warm Midwestern welcome to Consul General Gina A. Jamoralin who visited the city for the first time on 19 September.
Arriving for a scheduled meeting with Missouri Governor Michael L. Parson, Consul General Jamoralin, accompanied by DCG Romulo Victor Israel Jr., took the opportunity to touch base with the Filipino community represented by the leaders of the Filipino American Association of Missouri (FAAMO), Philippine Medical Association (PMA), Philippine Nurses Association (PNA), Philippine Community Center, Inc. (PCCI) and Gawad Kalinga (GK).
The luncheon meeting held at YaYa’s Bistro provided an excellent venue for the Consul General to update the community on various programs of the Philippine Consulate General.
