PH Embassy in Brunei Participates in Filipino Association Basketball Tournament

BRUNEI DARUSSALAM 29 October 2018 — Philippine Embassy in Brunei Darussalam officials, led by Chargé d’ Affaires Pete Reymund V. Delfin attended the championship game and closing ceremonies of the 2018 Filipino Association (FA) in Brunei Basketball Tournament on 14 October 2018 at the Batu Bersurat Basketball Gymnasium.
In his message, Chargé d’ Affaires Delfin commended the FA’s officers and members who organized the tournament. He stressed the importance of recreational activities such as sports, which “recharges” mental, physical, and emotional well-being of the individual.
An enthusing exhibition game between the Embassy and the FA also took place during the event.
The Embassy fully supports the activities organized by Filipino Community organizations, including sports events that promote healthy lifestyle and strengthens fellowship among the Filipino nationals in Brunei Darussalam. END
