Ambassador Kapunan Inducts Newly-Elected Officers of Pilipinas.MM

YANGON 29 October 2018 – Philippine Ambassador to Yangon Eduardo E. Kapunan, Jr. administered the oath of office to the newly elected officers and advisers of the Pilipinas.MM on 07 October 2018 at the Embassy grounds.

The program consisted of a simple salu-salo prepared by the Filipino Community, the reading of the President's Report and the Financial Report, and the Awarding of Basketball Winners.

Established on 26 August 1996, Pilipinas.MM is the only official Filipino Community organization in Myanmar which is committed to help provide assistance to its members, raise the profile of Filipinos in Myanmar, and promote Philippine-Myanmar relations. END
