PH Consul General in Dubai Stresses Need for Highly Educated Workforce

DUBAI 29 October 2018 – The Philippines stressed the need for a strong and heightened partnership between the Government and the citizenry in addressing the challenges facing the global economy today in a global forum held on 04 October 2018 in Dubai.

Philippine Consul General Paul Raymund P. Cortes was Special Guest and Panelist at The Philippine Economic Outlook - 2018/19 Forum, an event organized by the IQI Group, which was attended by around 150 leaders and members of the Filipino community and the local business community in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

During the panel discussion, the Consul General also emphasized the importance of a highly educated workforce in creating an innovative and productive society.

Mr. Shan Saeed, IQI Global Chief Economist based in Malaysia, shared his views on factors affecting economic growth, global investor’s radar, infra-structure investment, productivity, and his analysis on economic future of the Philippines. END
