Filipino MMA Star Wins Brave 17 MMA Event

ISLAMABAD 08 November 2018 – Filipino mixed martial arts (MMA) star Jeremy “The Juggernaut” Pacatiw of Team Lakay secured a historic victory over a Pakistani opponent Uloomi Karim at the co-main event of the Brave 17 Mixed Martial Arts held at the Nishtar Park Sports Complex in Lahore, Pakistan on 27 October 2018.

Currently, Mr. Pacatiw holds a professional record of 8-3-0 and is ranked 13th out of 96 active Middle East Pro Bantamweights. He also has the most number of appearances in the Brave Combat Federation.

Brave 17 is the first international mixed martial arts that took place in Pakistan and marks the seventh appearance for Pacatiw in Brave Combat Federation. Two other Filipinos, Arben Escayo and Ariel Oliveros, also fought in the under card matches.

Ambassador to Pakistan Daniel R. Espiritu, along with officers and staff from the Philippine Embassy in Islamabad, attended the event and provided support to the Filipino fighters. END
