PH Consulate General in NY Hosts SSS Outreach

NEW YORK 05 November 2018 – A three-woman team from the Social Security System (SSS), headed by SSS Senior Vice President Judy Frances A. See, held an outreach at the Philippine Center on 26, 29, and 30 October 2018 to entertain all SSS requests.
SSS services include registration, reactivation, enrollment in the Flexi-Fund Program, member data amendment, and pensioner data amendment.
The team also joined the consular outreach team of the Philippine Consulate General in New York at Jersey City on 29 October 2018, where it provided a briefing apart from entertaining requests from clients.
The team also paid a courtesy call on Consul General Claro S. Cristobal on 26 October 2018, highlighting its interest to set up a foreign representative office at the Philippine Center to cater to the needs of Filipinos in the East Coast.
Currently, the SSS only has a foreign representative office at San Francisco. The Consul General expressed its support for the proposal. END
