“Unsurrendered 2: The Hunters ROTC Guerrillas” Screened at Farrington High School, Honolulu

HONOLULU 08 November 2018 — As part of the month-long celebration of Filipino American History Month, the Filipino Association of University Women (FAUW), in partnership with Farrington High School in Honolulu, held a screening of the film “Unsurrendered 2: The Hunters ROTC Guerillas” on 23 October 2018 at the Farrington High School Auditorium.
More than 300 students of Farrington High School, most of whom are of Filipino descent watched the World War II documentary.
Consul Roberto T. Bernardo delivered a message of behalf of the Philippine Consulate General in Honolulu.
The film screening included a brief question and answer session with Executive Producer Miguel Guillermo, Hunters ROTC guerilla and US Congressional Gold Medal awardee Mrs. Salome Villamarin-Calderon, as well as family members of World War II veterans. END
