ANKARA 09 November 2018 — With the theme “Isulong Tamang Pag-aaruga Para sa Lahat ng Bata,” the Filipino Community in Turkey celebrated Children’s Day and showed unified support for the End the Violence Against Children (End VAC) campaign in an event held at the Philippine Embassy in Ankara on 14 October 2018.

The program featured UNICEF's video on “Violence Against Children Explained.” The brief clip presented the various forms of violence children face. In response, the Filipino Community in Ankara performed the Baby Shark dance in support of the End-VAC campaign.

The Filipino Community also reflected on the UNICEF video and the End-VAWC/Baby Shark performance. Highlighted was the importance of how family members and the surrounding community can create a violence-free environment conducive for children to grow in and develop.

"Children are very important.
