PH Students Win Asian Debate Champ

BANGKOK 09 November 2018 —Ambassador to Thailand Mary Jo A. Bernardo-Aragon attended the championship dinner of the 10th Asian Schools Debate Championship (ASDC) 2018 hosted by Panyarat High School, Bangkok on 06 October 2018.

De La Salle Santiago Zobel School won as Grand Champion of the 10th ASDC, De La Salle University Manila Integrated School emerged as the Grand Finalist or First Runner-up, while Mr. Christopher Jose Carlos of Ateneo Senior High School became the Champion for Public speaking category.

The Philippines was represented by teams from Ateneo Senior High School, De La Salle University Manila Integrated School, and De La Salle Santiago Zobel School.

The Philippine schools dominated the competition that participated by schools Thailand, Mongolia, Malaysia, and Bangladesh. END
