PH, Syria Discuss OFW Concerns

DAMASCUS 08 November 2018 — Charge d’ Affaires and Consul General Alex V. Lamadrid called on Syrian Deputy Minister of Justice Judge Taysir Smadi on 24 October 2018 to discuss matters related to repatriation of Filipino nationals and related cases. 

The Deputy Minister extended the Syrian government’s appreciation to the Embassy for maintaining its diplomatic ties with the host country.

Charge d’ Affaires Lamadrid also thanked the Ministry for the assistance extended to the Embassy in relation to the repatriation of Filipinos. END
