PH Consulate General in LA Attends NCPACA Convention Gala Night

LOS ANGELES 10 September 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles attended the 32nd annual convention of the National Council of Philippine American Canadian Accountants (NCPACA) Gala Night, which was held at the Anaheim Marriott on 02 September 2018. 

Consul General in Los Angeles Adelio Angelito S. Cruz, represented by Consul Rea G. Oreta, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the officers and members of the NCPACA for their three-day convention.

He also commended the Philippine American Society of CPAs-LA Chapter, led by its overall convention chair Gloria Cajanap, for hosting this year’s NCPACA’s convention and providing a platform for Filipino accountants in the United States, Canada, and the Philippines to get together and exchange ideas on harnessing the power of information and creating diversified and global innovation, which is the theme of this year’s convention.

In her welcome remarks, NCPACA President Marina R. Buenaventura reiterated the organization’s accomplishments for the past 30 years which included opportunities for its members to keep up with the growing trends and best practices on accounting and finance industry through professional development workshops.

NCPACA is a non-profit organization of Filipino-American and Filipino-Canadian accounting professionals. It was established in 1984 in San Francisco to provide a platform to foster the development of professional accountants living in the U.S. and Canada. END
