PH Embassy in Warsaw Attends Founding Anniversary of First Polish Investor to PH

WARSAW 15 October 2018 — The Philippine Embassy in Warsaw is confident and hopes for more Polish firms to invest in the Philippines after the first Polish investor, Lingaro, located one of its offices in the country. Lingaro celebrated its 10th founding anniversary on 02 October 2018.
Main guests during the anniversary celebration were the former Polish president and Solidarity leader Lech Walesa and Ambassador to Warsaw Patricia Ann V. Paez.
In her brief remarks, Ambassador Paez thanked Lingaro for having faith and confidence in the Philippines and on Filipinos by investing in the country. She also expressed her appreciation for the company in sharing advanced Polish know-how in the field of information technology to the Philippines.
She stressed that the company is already etched in the history of Philippines-Poland relations, being the first Polish investor in the Philippines.
“I am glad that the Polish Investment and Trade Agency is supporting the growth of Lingaro. Through Lingaro, the strong and mighty Polish eagle will soar higher and soar across the skies of Asia and across the skies of all continents,” Ambassador Paez concluded.
Its Makati-based company employs at least 50 Filipinos and this number will soon increase with the imminent expansion of Lingaro’s operations not only in the Philippines but to the rest of Southeast Asia as well as in North America.
Lingaro is growing at an amazing rate of 30 to 40 percent every year and services global clients with IT solutions, with at least 11 nationalities work for the company. Respect for individuals and inter-cultural sensitivity are deeply ingrained in its corporate values. END
