PH Embassy in Brasilia Strengthens Ties with São Paulo Police Authorities
With the aim to further strengthen the working ties existing between the Federal Public Defenders Office (DPU) and Federal Immigration Police (DELEMIG), the Philippine Embassy in Brasilia officials met with the officials of DELEMIG and DPU in São Paulo on 12 November 2018.
In both meetings, the Embassy team sought to renew its already strong ties by establishing clear procedures and synergies in protecting the rights and interest of Filipino in São Paulo who are serving their sentences in semi-open and open regime, as well as those undergoing expulsion investigations and those who have been issued expulsion decreed by the courts.
