06 January 2014 – The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago and the Filipino-American community in Chicagoland commemorated the 117th anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Jose Rizal with a floral offering on 30 December 2013 at the Dr. Jose P. Rizal Monument on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago.
