PH Consul General Receives Filipino Runners From Milan

PHOTO: The Philippine Consulate General in Milan received Filipino runners from Milan who paid a courtesy call on Consul General Irene Susan B. Natividad on 15 November 2018.

Reizel Collado and Reynaldo Cabrera Jr., both members of the Pinoy Runners of Milan, participated in the five-kilometer “Run for Life” event in Italy in March 2018.

Mr. Collado also took part in the longer 125-kilometer trail run, while Mr. Cabrera was awarded to train and participate in a 250-kilometer run from Milan to San Remo in 2019.

Consul General Natividad congratulated the Filipino runners and Pinoy Runners of Milan, represented by its president Gary Eden, for their achievement. She also thanked them for setting good examples for the Filipino Community in Italy through their successful participation in competitive sports in the country.

Pinoy Runners of Milan is one of the several Filipino Community organizations in the jurisdiction of the Consulate General that are campaigning for the active involvement of the youth in sports. (Milan PCG photo)
