PARIS 09 November 2018 Hundreds of overseas Filipinos availed of the consular and related services conducted by a combined team from the Philippine Embassy in Paris, Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO)-Geneva, Social Security Services (SSS)-Milan and Pag-IBIG London in Marseille, France on 27-28 October 2018.

Almost 200 passport renewals, a hundred notarial documents and certificates, and a hundred community cards were processed during the two-day Consular Outreach. POLO-Geneva, SSS-Milan and Pag-IBIG London rendered services to more than 200 Filipinos and informed them of the benefits if they registered for OWWA membership, Pag-IBIG Fund Savings Program, and SSS Overseas Filipino Workers Coverage program.

The Embassy’s efforts to constantly find ways to improve services to the Filipino community were emphasized by Ambassador Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro.

She said, “the Philippine Embassy ensured that all needed consular services by the Filipino community will be accommodated by having an online registration and pre-processing of documents, early information dissemination and choosing an accessible and comfortable venue.” END
