PH Embassy in Bangkok Conducts Post-Arrival Orientation Seminar

BANGKOK 06 December 2018 — To help Overseas Filipinos integrate into Thai society, the Philippine Embassy in Bangkok organized a Post-Arrival Orientation Seminar on 27 October 2018 as part of its gender and development program for 23 participants.
Information provided during the seminar included the work of the Embassy, its officers, sections and functions, issues affecting Filipinos in Thailand, including cases were women and children are most vulnerable and overview of the Thai Social Security System and Medical Insurance.
The participants were also given an overview of the Philippine Security Social Security System (SSS) and PhilHealth benefits, particularly those available to overseas Filipinos, and how themselves and their families can prepare for entrepreneurship. END
