Course instructor Abigail Famado conducted a lecture on simple baking rules and guided the 12 participants through the step-by-step procedures of baking red velvet cake and marble cake. The participants were divided into groups and each group was given a set of baking ingredients and utensils. Succeeding sessions will be held twice a month on Sundays.

The basic baking course is part of the reintegration program of the Philippine government for OFWs and it intends to give them, especially household service workers, additional livelihood skills. (Brunei PE photos)
