06 January 2014 – The Philippine Embassy in Pretoria, led by Philippine Ambassador to South Africa Constancio R. Vingno, Jr.  and Madame Yoko Ramos-Vingno, hosted an evening dinner reception in honor of Vice President Jejomar C. Binay and his delegation at the Ambassador’s Residence in Pretoria on December 11. 

The event was well-attended by members of the Filipino community in Pretoria and Johannesburg. A group of Filipinos in Lesotho travelled all the way to Pretoria just to attend the event and to meet the Vice President. 

During the event, the Vice President very closely interacted with the Filipino community, sharing conversations over dinner and drinks. END
