PH Consulate in Dubai Holds Special Outreach at Ras Al Khaimah

DUBAI 13 November 2018 - The Philippine Consulate General in Dubai held a special consular outreach for Filipinos based in Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) at the Consulate on 02 November 2018.

RAK-based Filipinos came in droves to avail of various consular services extended to them that Friday, which is a holiday in the United Arab Emirates. The Consulate processed 263 passport renewal applicants and served 50 clients who availed of notarial services.

The Consulate’s special outreach, which is held every two months, was well-received. RAK Filipinos expressed their appreciation to Consul General Paul Raymund P. Cortes and the officers and staff of the Consulate for opening its doors to them even on a Friday and always answering to the needs of the Filipinos in that emirate which is about 100 kilometers away from Dubai.

Most of them are free only on Fridays and could not travel to Dubai to avail of the consulate’s services during weekdays due to work commitments. END
