PHOTO: A team from the Philippine Embassy in Brasília visited female Filipino detainees at the Penitenciária Feminina da Capital in São Paulo, Brazil on 12 November 2018.

The visit was an opportunity to renew the working relations between the Embassy and the penitentiary authorities.

The team, which is composed of composed of Consul General Ariz Severino V. Convalecer, Assistance to Nationals assistant Ethel Jane P. Molina and translator Rosamari F. Candido, made the visit to ensure that the Embassy is closely coordinating the cases of detained Filipinos and providing the assurance that their rights and welfare are protected. (Brasilia PE photo)
