 PH Consulate Surveys Green Tech in HK’s Biggest Environment Fair

HONG KONG 07 November 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General in Hong Kong, led by Consul General Antonio A. Morales, surveyed the latest green economy trends at the four-day Eco Expo Asia, Hong Kong’s biggest environmental protection-themed exhibition, held on 25 October 2018 at the AsiaWorld Expo on Lantau Island.

The event, which ran until 28 October 2018, was attended by members of the consular corps, Hong Kong government officials, and representatives from the private sector.

On its 13th year, Eco Expo Asia is Hong Kong’s leading trade fair for the environment protection industry, and featured 340 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions, including Austria, India, Singapore, Switzerland, and Thailand.

Consul General Morales, Consul Roderico C. Atienza and the Consulate’s Political and Economic Section visited the expo, including an exhibit of a prototype electric bus from Ecological Green Transportation, a Hong Kong-based eco-company. END
