PH Ambassador Speaks at Int’l Symposium on PH-Mexico Relations

PHOTO: Ambassador to Belgium Eduardo José A. de Vega delivered a speech on Philippine-Mexican cultural ties in Spanish during the international symposium “Philippine Literature in Spanish in the Context of Hispanic-Asian Studies” at the University of Antwerp in Belgium on 03 December 2018.

 The event was organized by the Spanish Department of the University of Clermont-Ferrand in France and by the Center of Mexican Studies and the Department of Literature of the University of Antwerp in Belgium and is part of the International Conference “Filipino Literature in Spanish in the Context of Hispanic-Asian Studies.”

 The conference aims to raise the awareness of a new field of study on relations between Asia and the Spanish-speaking world that has started gaining visibility within the area of Hispanic studies, particularly on Philippine literature in Spanish which is the least explored. (Brussels PE photo)
