PH Ambassador Meets UAE’s State Minister for Int’l Cooperation

PHOTO: Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Hjayceelyn M. Quintana called on the UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem Al Hashimy on at the sidelines of Expo 2020 Dubai International Participants Meeting on 27 November 2018.

During the meeting, Minister Al Hashimy remarked on the happy disposition and resilient nature of Filipinos. “What is wonderful about Filipinos is your attitude in life. Others forget that happiness is a strength,” Minister Al Hashimy said.

Ambassador Quintana thanked Minister Al Hashimy for her gracious comments on the Filipino people, and the hospitality extended by the UAE to an estimated 700,000 Filipinos living in the country.

Minister Al Hashimy, who is also the Managing Director of Expo 2020 Dubai, said that she looks forward to the Philippines’ participation in the world expo.
