PH Embassy in Rome Joins Closing Ceremony of PH Pavilion at The Venice Biennale 2018
PHOTO: Ambassador to Italy Domingo P. Nolasco gave his welcome remarks at the closing ceremony for The City Who Had Two Navels, the Philippine Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2018 at the Fava Church in Venice on 25 November 2018.
A total of 11 Filipino youth served as invigilators of the pavilion, including Italy-based Filipino youth Monica Francisco, Krystel Camelle Villaceran, and Jerome Herusalem. They received their certificates of appreciation for their work as invigilators and managers of the Philippine Pavilion at the Venice Biennale 2018.
The certificates were signed by Senator Loren Legarda, National Commission of Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Chairperson Virgilio Almario, and Ambassador Nolasco, and were presented together with Philippine Pavilion curator Dr. Edson Cabalfin and NCCA’s Bernan Joseph Corpuz. (Rome PE photos)
