PH Embassy Conducts Consular Outreach in Gothenburg

GOTHENBURG 04 January 2019 — As part of providing consular services to Filipinos under its jurisdiction, the Philippine Embassy in Oslo conducted its first consular outreach in Gothenburg, Sweden on 24 and 25 November 2018 at the Kulturhuset Blå Stället and the Scandic Hotel.

More than 70 Filipinos were served with their various consular needs such as passport renewal, dual citizenship application and civil registry.

The Embassy also engaged the members of the Filipino community in Gothenburg and discussed the various activities of the community in Southern Sweden and the services of the Embassy. The Embassy also discussed its programs on the protection and promotion of the welfare of the Filipinos in the Nordic countries.

The outreach was conducted through the assistance extended by the Filippinska Barn och Kvinnoföreningen, represented by Ms. Elisabeth Esporlas. END
