PH Embassy in Tehran Conducts Consular Mission in Turkmenistan

PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Tehran dispatched a three-member consular team to Turkmenistan to ascertain the living conditions of Filipino nationals and engage the members of the Filipino Community based in Ashgabat on 28-29 November 2018.

Majority of Filipinos working in Turkmenistan are technical professionals and engineers involved in construction, infrastructure development, and industrial projects scattered across the vast terrestrial territory of the country.

Strict government control and compliance monitoring of Turkmen immigration have ensured that work and living conditions of highly-skilled, professional foreign experts are in accordance with their contractual agreement with their mother companies.

The Embassy has jurisdiction over Turkmenistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, and continuously monitors developments with particular regard to Overseas Filipino Workers in all three states. (Tehran PE photo)
