PH Consulate General in Vancouver, Senior Trade Commissioner Seek Export Opportunities for PH in Canada

PHOTO: The Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver, represented by Consul Arlene T. Magno and Senior Trade Commissioner Maria Roseni Alvero, visited Inno Foods Inc. in Coquitlam to explore the possibility of sourcing out food ingredients from the Philippines.

Inno Foods specializes in organic and natural snack foods sold in Canada, the United States, United Kingdom, Iceland, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, and Europe.

Upon arrival, Inno Foods Chief Finance Officer Jae Ho Lee toured the Embassy representatives around the warehouse and factory before they met with the company’s president Park Doo Yun and his wife.

Mr. Park said that he intends to travel to the Philippines early next year to survey his options.

Senior Trade Commissioner Alvero, who is based in Toronto, is in Vancouver to attend the 2018 annual Consular Consultations and Economic Diplomacy Workshop for Foreign Service Posts in Canada, hosted by the Philippine Consulate General in Vancouver on 01-02 December 2018. (Vancouver PCG photos)
