09 January 2014 - Liwayway Group (China), manufacturers of Oishi products, SM Prime Holdings, developer and operator of five (5) SM malls in China, and Guangxi Fil-Dragon Real Estate Development Ltd., were recognized by the China-ASEAN Business Council (CABC) as among the top 10 ASEAN enterprises entering China, during an awards ceremony on January 07. 

The three (3) companies were awarded for their contribution in enhancing ASEAN-China economic relations and promoting investments and the Philippine brand in China. 

Mr. Larry Chan, President of Liwayway (China) Co. Ltd., was also recognized as one of the five (5) outstanding ASEAN entrepreneurs doing business in China for 2013.  

CABC also recognized the efforts and contributions of the various ASEAN chambers of commerce in promoting trade and investment cooperation between China and ASEAN. 

At the reception, Philippine Ambassador to China Erlinda Basilio met Mr. Li Xinghua, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Panhua Group, and discussed the company’s plans to invest in the Philippines.  Mr. Li and senior corporate executives of Panhua Group was in the Philippines from September 15 to 20, 2013.  END
