PH Embassy in Manama Assists 10th Batch of Beneficiaries for Bahrain LMRA’s Flexi Visas

MANAMA 22 January 2019 – The Philippine Embassy in Manama assisted another batch of Filipinos who benefited from the financial assistance program for out-of-status workers approved by Bahrain’s Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) for their Flexi Visas—the tenth and final batch of beneficiaries for 2018 on 02 January 2019.
Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso A. Ver led the distribution of Blue Cards for the 45 Filipinos who were granted their Flexi Visas.
Under the joint program with the LMRA, the Embassy paid for the application fees and two monthly payments for each of the qualified and approved Flexi Visa worker.
To date, a total of formerly out-of-status 585 Filipinos, have regularized their status in Bahrain and are now allowed to live and work legally in the country. END
