PH Ambassador Meets Filipino Community in Aarhus

Antonina Mendoza-Oblena (rightmost) met with the members of Filipino Community in Aarhus, Denmark on 04 January 2019 to discuss the functions and plans of the Philippine Embassy in Oslo, Norway, which presently covers Denmark.

Ambassador Batoon-Garcia also confirmed that the proposed Philippine Embassy in Copenhagen, which she had mentioned during the farewell luncheon of Honorary Consul Poul Krogh, last June 2018, will be established this January 2019.

Chargé d’Affaires Oblena was also on hand to discuss plans of the new Embassy in Copenhagen. She announced that the new Embassy will begin offering consular services on 14 January 2019. (Oslo PE photo)
