PH Company Joins 1st ASEAN Business Matching Event in Myanmar

YANGON 29 January 2019 – Philippine company Monde Nissin participated in the first-ever ASEAN Business Matching Event organized by the Philippine Embassy in Yangon, in cooperation with the ASEAN Missions in Myanmar and the International Business Promotion Centre (IBPC), at the Pan Pacific Yangon on 15 January 2018.
Owners and representatives of businesses from eight business sectors of the 10 ASEAN countries came to Yangon to network with each other, and to explore opportunities for partnerships with Myanmar businesses. Representatives from the Myanmar Investment Commission and the Thai Business Association of Myanmar also explained to the business owners/representatives the investment climate in Myanmar and the challenges and opportunities of doing business in Myanmar.
IBPC is a private sector-led entity, led by the Chairman of Shwe Taung Development Co. Ltd., dedicated to fostering international cooperation and commerce between global businesses and Myanmar companies. END
