New “It’s More Fun in the Philippines” Ads Launched in Sydney

SYDNEY 06 February 2019 — The Philippine Consulate General in Sydney, led by Consul General Maria Teresa L. Taguiang, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for “Its More Fun in the Philippines” advertisements on Sydney trains at Bondi Junction Train Station on 21 January 2019.
The 12-week ad campaign features El Nido Palawan, voted as one of the best islands in the world by Travel Leisure magazine.
Sydney Trains have 33 million passengers per month and 1.2 million passengers per day. The ad campaign aims to encourage Sydney commuters as well as its millions of foreign tourists to visit the Philippines and its 7,641 islands.
The event was also attended by Tourism Attaché Norjamin Delos Reyes, Consul Melanie Diano, Trade Attaché Alma Argayoso, and Emma Collins of Torch Media. END
