PH Consul General Meets Filipino Young Leaders Alumni

CHICAGO 11 February 2019 — Chicago-based Filipino Young Leaders Program (FYLPro) alumni discussed their proposal to engage leadership programs that will help empower the second- and third- generations of Filipinos in the Midwest during the dinner hosted by Consul General to Chicago Gina A. Jamoralin at the Union League Club in Chicago on 28 December 2018.

Former FYLPro delegates Louella Rose Cabalona of Batch 2012 and Jan Paul Ferrer of Batch 2014 were in attendance together with the 2018 recipients from Chicago, Melissa Palma and Baron Cabalona.

This year’s FYLPRO immersion trip, which was held on 18-23 November 2018, is a joint undertaking by the Philippine Embassy in Washington, D.C. and Consulates General in the United States, the Ayala Foundation, Inc., and the Filipino Young Leaders Program Organization.

Consul General Jamoralin thanked them for their expression of support, and looks forward to hearing more good things about their advocacy for a better Philippines. END
