PH Embassy, Filipinos in Bahrain Celebrate Feast of Sto. Niño

PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy and the Filipino Community in Manama celebrated the feast of Santo Niño at Sacred Heart Church in the Bahraini capital on 25 January 2019, with the theme “Santo Niño, Guide of God’s Children to Humility and Service.”

A concelebrated mass in honor of the Santo Niño was presided over by Monsignor Francisco Padilla, together with guest priest Father Bong Guerrero of the Diocese of Cubao, and other priests.

An outdoor program followed the mass, where Ambassador to Bahrain Alfonso A. Ver delivered his greetings and other guests in attendance. Statues of Sto. Niño were also blessed, accompanied by a dance by the devotees similar to the traditional Sinulog festival. (Manama PE photo)
