17 January 2014 - Honorable Albert F. Del Rosario, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, visited the new chancery of the Philippine Embassy in Yangon upon his arrival in Yangon on 16 January 2014, on his way to attend the retreat of ASEAN Ministers Meeting (AMM) in Bagan from 15 to 18 January 2014.

The AMM retreat is the first high-level meeting among several ASEAN meetings which will be hosted by Myanmar as ASEAN Chairman for 2014.

Secretary Del Rosario expressed his approval on the suitability and over the new location of the Chancery after going around the premises.

During the visit, Sec. Del Rosario joined the Embassy officials and staff in a photo opportunity at its foyer. The Chancery has relocated to its new address at No. 7 Gandamar St., Yankin Township, Yangon, Myanmar on 1 December 2013.  END
