PH Embassy in Oslo Celebrates Santo Niño Feast Day, Sinulog Festival

PHOTO: Filipino talents who showcased song and dance performances took center stage as the Philippine Embassy in Oslo joined the Filipino community in Oslo in the celebration of the Feast Day of Santo Niño and Sinulog Festival on 19 January 2019.

The festivities started with a Holy Mass at St. Olav Cathedral led by Father Johan Dumandan of the Sacred Heart of Filipino Chaplaincy, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Chapter.

The Catholic mass was followed by the Sinulog celebration at St. Sunniva School, a few steps from the St. Olav Cathedral.

Ambassador to Norway Jocelyn Batoon-Garcia expressed appreciation for the efforts of the Filipino community to keep Filipino traditions alive in Norway. (Oslo PE photos)
