PH Embassy Visits Cereals, Mixed Feed, Vet Expo in Moscow

MOSCOW 14 February 2019 – Officials from the Philippine Embassy in Moscow viewed the latest innovations in the area of Russian animal feed and veterinary services at the 2019 MVC: Cereals - Mixed Feed - Veterinary Trade Fair in Moscow on 29 January 2019.

“This trade fair highlights developments in Russian grain, grain products, mixed feeds and veterinary equipment and technology. We see potential in cooperating with Russia in these areas that could benefit our own efforts to bolster our food security,” Ambassador to Russia Carlos D. Sorreta said.

Among the exhibits viewed by the Embassy were on growing, collecting, transporting, storage and processing of grain and grain products; mixed feed production; grain mills; mixed feed for agricultural and farm animals, poultry, and fish; sorting, measuring, packing materials and equipment; loading, measuring, controlling and laboratory equipment; computerized management systems and software; and veterinary products, instruments and services.

The trade fair was held at the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy Center in Moscow. With Ambassador Sorreta were Head of the Embassy’s Economic Section Third Secretary and Vice Consul Mary Grace Perpetua, Economic Officer Attaché Vida Cara, and Embassy Interpreter Olga Kaplina.

Held annually since 1996, the trade fair gathers Russian and foreign experts and industry leaders in these fields. (www.mvc-expohleb.ru/en/). END
