DepEd Officials Visit PH Consulate General in New York, Discusses Gabay Mag-aaral Project

Consul General Cristobal thanked Dr. Uytico for hosting the national launch of the Gabay Mag-aaral Project at San Jose Central Elementary School in Tacloban City on 02 August 2018. Dr. Joie Calub (1st from right), Education Administrator of New York City Department of Education, accompanied the DepEd officials.
Gabay Mag-aaral Project is an outcome of the Homecoming sa Konsulado, designed to mobilize United States-based mentors and volunteers to reach out to a public elementary school in the Philippines, and conduct a student assembly among Grade six students to inspire them in achieving their dreams based on time-honored values of honesty, integrity and discipline.
