MOSCOW 13 February 2019 — The Philippine Embassy in Moscow attended the VI National Aviation Infrastructure Show (NAIS 2019) at Moscow’s Crocus Expo on 06 February 2019 to view the more than 120 exhibitors from 15 countries that showcased the latest technologies and developments for the aviation infrastructures for airports, airfields, helipads and airline needs.

The Embassy’s main objective at NAIS 2019 was to explore possible partnerships with suppliers of aviation infrastructure products, services and innovations in the context of Philippine efforts to further modernize and improve its own aviation infrastructure, including the construction of new airports.

Exhibitors were suppliers of equipment for passenger and cargo terminals, manufacturers and suppliers of aviation flight safety and security solutions, and providers of design, construction, reconstruction and repair services of airports/airfields, to name the few.

Exhibition Manager Marina Kaunova met with Embassy Third Secretary and Vice Consul Mary Grace Perpetua providing a comprehensive overview of the exhibition. Ms. Kaunova expressed hope that the Philippines will participate in the 2020 edition of NAIS.

The aviation infrastructure show is held annually, and is regarded as one of the most respected and effective platforms dedicated to the civil aviation infrastructure modernization and developments of airports, airfields, helipads and airlines. END
