PH Embassy in Athens Conducts Consular Outreach in Cyprus

PHOTO: The Philippine Embassy in Athens, headed by Chargé d’Affaires Rosario P. Lemque, conducted the first consular outreach services in Nicosia, Cyprus on 2-3 February 2019, in response to the need of Filipinos residing in Nicosia and neighboring areas to keep their passports current and obtain other important documents.

The consular outreach team processed 261 passport renewal applications, four lost passports, four application for recapture of biometrics, one certificate of legal capacity to contract marriage, two affidavits to use the surname of the father, two affidavits of admission of paternity, one affidavit of late registration of birth, three joint affidavits of two disinterested persons, two certificates of registration of birth, four reports of birth, six reports of marriage, 201 renewal of Overseas Workers Welfare Administration membership, and 249 applications for updating Pag-IBIG contributions.

The consular outreach was successfully conducted with the support and cooperation of Honorary Consul in Cyprus Shemaine A. Bushnell-Kyriakides, the Filipino Community in Cyprus, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Athens, and the Pag-IBIG Representative Office in Athens. (Athens PE photos)
