PH Consulate General in Chongqing Holds Health, Wellness, Financial Literacy Lectures

CHONGQING 19 December 2018 – The Philippine Consulate General in Chongqing celebrated Christmas through health and wellness, and financial literacy lectures to 76 members of Filipino Community in Chongqing at Café 100 in Yuzhong District, Chongqing on 19 December 2018.
Consul General Crescente R. Relacion expressed his gratitude for the huge turn-out of attendance of the members of the Filipino Community. He emphasized that the spirit of Christmas is about giving and sharing what you have to others. He also emphasized on the importance of saving especially for future needs and investment.
Ms. Sarah Fernando Martin, a member of Filipino community who is a registered nurse and a teacher in the Child First Kindergarten gave a lecture on cardiopulmonary resuscitation as part of health and wellness.
Allied Bank-China Marketing Director Stephen Santos gave information on the services provided by Allied Bank Chongqing including remittances, rates offered by the bank and investment opportunities that the Filipinos in Chongqing can avail themselves of.
In spirit of Christmas celebration, the second part of the program was on entertainment including lively duet performance by Misses Ramonah Rodriquez and Yvette Siason, games, raffle draws, and a group singing by the members of the Filipino community. END
